Susan perhaps yet, someone kin will contact you, I hope so. I am sorry about your Mamma, I believe some men a long time ago had a rather heavy burden to bear, woemen too. I just don't see how they raised so many kid's....my grandparents had 10, raised 8 to be grown. My Mamma said all the kid's had to work to help keep the family fed. I suppose there wasn't time to be thankful for what you had, which was next to nothing back then. I am 80 now, and my Mamma raised me without my dad. He decided when she became pregnant, he didn't want to be married anymore.( I had a wonderful Step-dad from 1935 to 1961, when he died.) A whole lifetime later, I found him, and my Mamma married him for a second time, in 1980. She died in 1887,TX. and he died in 1990 in OK. alice Notify Administrator about this message?
