I believe the Thomas F. Coffey enumerated with the John W. Evans family in 1900 is my Grandfather. He was known as Fred T. Coffey, after that time, so that in 1910 he is enumerated with his maternal grandparents, William F. and Catherine H. Evans, in Johnston County, Ok. He later married Nettie M. Stratton. The Stratton family farm was just down the road. So this family is on the same page of the 1910 Census. Fred's parents were Sallie Evans and Thomas J. Coffey. They married in 1883. In 1880 T. J. Coffey, age 24 was listed as a boarder of Thadius Haney's Hotel, in Yell Co., AR, along with another boy W. J. Coffey age 21. I believe these boys to be the sons of D. N. and Mary E. Coffee as enumerated on the 1860 Maury Co., TN Census. Hope this info is helpful to you or someone. If there is more to share please e-mail me at okrose@icnet.net. Good Hunting!
