I am looking for information on Phinehas COFFEY who was born 7 Aug 1848 in Binbrook, Wentworth County, Ontario, Canada. He married Mrs. Eliza HUCKLE (maiden name unknown) on 26 Oct 1881. Eliza had at least one daughter - Rose - from her first marriage and they had three children together - Jane, Mabel, and a boy who died in childhood. Sometime after Mabel was born (?) they are believed to have entered the US illegally by boat and settled in central Michigan. He died 11 Aug 1917 in Shepherd, Isabella County, Michigan. A brother J.T. of Chicago "survived" him. In his obit his children were listed as Mrs. Jane Lilly of Greendale, Mrs. Mable Casner of Cadillac, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Rose Lord of Detroit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
