Michael Coffey arrived in Detroit, Michigan, in 1882 and married his second cousin Mary McGraw (daur of James McGraw). They had sons John Bartholomew (bn 1887), James Martin, and Thomas Peter, and daughters Mary, Florence, Kathleen, and Winifred. Patrick and Martin Coffey came to Detroit in the late 1880s. Patrick Coffey married Mary E. McGraw (daur of Michael McGraw) and had children: John (bn 1899), Clare, and Thomas.
Michael (bn 1855), Patrick (bn 1861), and Martin (bn 1863) were brothers from Bodyke/Tuamgraney in Co. Clare, Ireland.

Also, seek information on their brother John Coffey born 1857 in Tuamgraney, Clare, Ireland. Parents: John Coffey and Anne Sheridan. There is a possibility that this brother was actually a Jim or James Coffey who emigrated to Australia.
