Thanks, you confirm what I have found on the internet. Do you show anything further back than Edward Coffey in VA? or know any stories? I am actually hoping to get more on the line forward....funny how the older information is sometimes the easier. I know that Mary was daughter of Joshua and Rebecca Shepherd Coffey from a Coffey webpage. I am trying to "back" into finding information about her husband's (James Haynes my g grandfather)lineage as well. Thanks
