Logan Co AR 1880 E. tied to Floyd Family

Below are the Hartley stepchildren of William E. Coffey who were found in the 1880 Logan Co. Census. This still leaves parents of James and Riley to be found.

Guardianship was assumed for William J. and Sarah J. Hartley by W. W. Floyd
on August 30, 1871 and then by Eli C. Ragon (Rogers?) on June 27, 1873.

I found this information at the Floyd Forum

William Floyd, of DeKalb Co., (Alexandria) TN, was brother of my
g-g-grandfather, James Monroe Floyd. This William Floyd had a son, William
T., who was 13 on 1850 census, making him born ca 1837. William T. Floyd's
mother was Martha, and siblings (on 1850 census) were Joshua, 21; Safrona
C., 15; Robert D., 11; and Elizabeth, 8. Also in household were Ann Coffee,
70; Frances Coffee, 13; and William Coffee, 3. Possible that William T.
Floyd's mother was a Coffee also. William Floyd (father of William T.) was
son of David Floyd and Barbara Vantrease. Other known children of David and
Barbara are Sarah m. Chapman; Valentine m. Eliza; Barbara, Jr, never married
