Looking for info on William Coffey bc 1839 in Burke Co, NC and married Miranda Kincaide there. I know that they had settled into Cherokee Co, NC by the 1860 census and to my knowledge had only one child, a son Robert William Coffey b 1861. It's believed William was aboard a ship of some sort during the Civil War, that sank off the Carolina Coast. Miranda never remarried. If anyone has info on this couple please let me know. Thank You!
