Hi Jeff, I found this entry in 'The Famine Immigrants' Vol VI. Editor Ira A. Glazier. Genealogical Publishing Company. Caffee Timy 40 Male Laborer Ship:Siddons Date of Arrival: 6 January 1851 This is almost certainly the Coffey family that went to Kansas City. Apart from the mis-spelling of Coffee/Coffey the names all fit. Also, the ages of Betty=Elizabeth b. circa 1843, and William b. circa 1849 fit the information I have on the family in Kansas City. The maiden name of Ellen Coffey was Walsh. I wonder if any members of your family have Missouri marriage or death certificates for any of the above? Do certificates in Missouri name both parents of the married/deceased or the place of birth? The 1997 IGI addenda listed the marriage of William Egan and Elizabeth Coffey in Ballyvannon, Tuamgraney, Clare, Ireland. Since my Coffey forbears came from that townland I thought there might be a connection to the Kansas City Coffeys. I have since seen the IGI for Missouri and this couple were married in Kansas City and not in Ireland.(An Egan descendant became a Mormon.) It is possible therefore that Elizabeth had nothing to do with Tuamgraney -
