Sue,

I wish you very good luck!

I've been going through my files, checking some of the names found in the Lyman book against other records that I have.

John Coffee and Rachel Pidgon married 8 Dec 1784 in Loudon Co., VA. Their 10 listed children married between 1814 and 1842 (I have dates for 6 of them).

Unfortunately, I cannot find a date for marriage of Joseph Coffee to Lydia Elliot, who were parents of among others, Dr. Lilburn Coffee. I estimate that Lilburn would have been born c1820, or around the same time that my Lilburn was born in TN.

Joseph was a son of John and Rachel, and married Lydia probably around 1815.

The Dr. Lilburn and my Lilburn do not appear to even be remotely kin, but I'd still like to know something about his family. The Lyman book does not take him further.

Please keep me in mind should you run across anything new on this family.

Regards - Jack
