I was recently looking through some old family papers and found an article on my great-grandmother, Clarissa Ellen Coffey. The article was printed at the time of her death in 1939 in Portland,Oregon. In this article it mentions that she was survived;among others; by her brother, Finley H. Coffey. The paper mentioned that he lived in Lenoir, NC. Her other brother was listed as, Dan S. Coffey, then of St. Paul, Minn. Clarissa married her third cousin, Dr. Robert C.Coffey. They were from North Carolina,I believe. They moved to Portland, Oregon in 1898. The siblings that you listed, were not the same, however, it seems very strange that there could be two Finley H. Coffeys from that area of the country. I would be interested in hearing from you to see if we are talking about the same person.
