Thank you for giving me the information on Chesley Coffee. Chesley and Margaret Baldwin Coffee daughter Mary (Polly) Coffee married John Richard McClain April 15, 1800 in Knox Co., Tenn. Their son Issac McClain b. Oct. 20, 1803 married Catherine Stapp (daughter of John and Patience Phelps Stapp). Issac and Catherine Stapp McClain had a son John S. McClain b. Oct. 20., 1827 in Adair Co. Ky. and married Eleonor Mohannah Nov. 8, 1853 in Illionis. They settled if Pike Co., Ill. John S. and Eleonor McClain had a dauthter Catherine Felicia Eliza McClain born June 6, 1856 in Ill. and married Moses Everett Park born March 22, 1855, Smith Co., Texas. Issac and his son John S. and Felicia McClain Park are all buried in the Old Perry Cementary in Moody, Texas.

Edward Coffee marrried Ann Ester Powell and they had a daughter Martha (Patsy) who married Joshua Stapp. Martha {Patsy) Coffee and Joshua Stapp had a son John Stapp Sr. Born abt. 1711 inOrange Co., Va. and married Ann Salmon (daughter of Thomas Salmon and Mary Therot). John Sr. and Ann Salmon Stapp had a son Col. John Stapp Jr. Col. John Stapp Jr. Married (2nd. wife) Patience Phelps. Col. John Stapp Jr. and Patience Phelps had a dauthter Catherine Stapp who married Issac McClain. This is how I get my two grandfathers Edward Coffee and Chesley Coffee.
