Christopher C. Coffee of Madison, FL

Doing research for my Master's Thesis on companies of men from Florida who fought in the Mexican War. One company was headed by Captain Christopher C. Coffee of Madison County, Florida. I know he was from Georgia and that he might have fought in the 2nd Seminole War, as well. I know he was a farmer and died between 1870 and 1880.

Any information on him would be greatly appreciated.
