Thank you for your reply. Your information has proven very interesting & informative. David & Ruth Satterthwait were my GGGGreat Grandparents. I have very little on their children and have recently been working on filling it that information. You have filled my big blank regarding Rachel. FYI-In the earlier generations of the Satterthwait(e) family there was an "e" on the end of the name and in our history somewhere around David's (either he or his father) time the "e" was dropped for an unknown reason. The rumor is that it was due to a family arguement but that can't be confirmed. If you would like more information on the Satterthwait(e) family please contact me directly and I will be happy to share my info with you. I have Satterthwait(e) history back to George Satterthwaite born in Hawkshead, England March 20, 1569/70.
