Caleb (McCaleb) was the son of Thomas and Sarah Coffee. Thomas' will was dated Jan 29, 1825. Caleb was b 22 Aug 1803 in Wilkes Co., NC and d 17 Feb 1881 in Caldwell Co., NC. He married Elizabeth in Feb., 1828.

Check "Tennessee Cousins" by Ray. Also, look for "History of Watauga".
