March 10th: James Coffee, an ex-policeman, died about half past 10 o'clock Saturday night. He was well known in this city, where he resided continuously for over thirty years.In the days of stage-coaching, Coffee was one of the most popular drivers on the coast. His brother, who resides in San Fransisco, was at the bedside during the last few hours. Deceased was 62 years of age, a native of Pennsylvania, PA.
