I am doing some research for the ancestors of Daniel Waters. His paternal grandmother was Melissa M. Coffee. So far, I have not been able to find out anything about her ancestors. Per family records, she was born 28 Apr 1865 in Georgia, married Harrison R Waters in Gilmer County Georgia in 1881, and died 18 Jan 1959 in Westville, Adair County, Oklahoma. I can find her in the various census records during the time she was married to Harrison Waters, but not before that.
Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
