Sorry, my mistake... I meant to type the felony conviction in the Old Bailey and the transport of Peter Coffee to the Virginia Colony was in 1729 and 1737 respectively.
Apparently Peter Coffee served six years in Newgate Prison for forgery. Peter Coffee was sentenced to Death for the forgery but apparently it was commuted and he was transported from St. Katherine's Dock in London to Virginia as an indentured lagborer, and served an additional seven years.
