Alice m Jones is the daughter of Abner R Jones and Josephine
White. Here is her mother's obit from the Hope Star 1933
Mrs. Josephine Jones, 78, died suddenly Saturday morning at 6 o'clock at the home of Mrs. J O(james Oscar)England, three
miles northeast of Hope. Death was due to apoplexy. She had been a resident of Hope practically her entire life. Funeral and burial services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at Wilson cemetery at Guernsey. Mrs. Jones is survived by one brother, P C White of Hope, two sisters; Mrs. D Shell of Memphis and Mrs. J Harving of Sweetwater Texas. Three daughters; Mrs. J O England, Mrs J B Bowden, and Mrs. Tom Henson of Hope. Three sons, E D(Elmer Dudley)Jones, George W. Jones of Hope and Thomas C Jones of Texas
and a SON IN LAW Bob Coffee of Shreveport, La.
