Hi all.
Researching a fellow named John Wesley Christopher Coffee b. KY July 9, 1861. Mother Elizabeth. He reported his father to have been killed in the Union Army near Richmond, VA. Moved to Indiana shortly before 1870 with mother and 1/2 sister Delia Charters (b. abt. 1867) -Charters perhaps a married name. Brothers deceased by 1885. Have seen a couple generations of John Wesley Coffees but not sure where this fellow fits in. He was convicted of a double murder in Montgomery County, Indiana in 1885 and executed by hanging.

Anyone have anything close???

Thanks for looking.

Bill Dazey
