Please click on the link below for a complete history of Ira Coe and his family. Ira was a descendant of John Coe (1588-1650), who immigrated to Stamford, CT, from Suffolk, England, in 1640. John Coe was a ninth generation descendant of the English Knight Sir John Coe (1340-1415) of Gestingthorpe, Essex.
