My great uncle Joseph Adam Philby was born June 5, 1880. His family lived in Centerville, Iowa. He married Catherine Cody April 12, 1904. I have been told that Catherine is a cousin to Buffalo Bill. What I have found is that Catherine was born to Nicholas and Alvina Cody in 1884 in Ottumwa, Iowa. Catherine died Oct. 15, 1968 in Wisconsin. Joseph and Catherine had three daughters: Charlotte born Jan. 12, 1905 in Brazil, Iowa Mildred born July 3, 1908 in Brazil, Iowa and Betty Jo born July 17, 1928 in Detroit, Mich. If anyone has an information about Catherine being Buffalo Bill's cousin and if I am related, please let me know. Thank you for your help. Donita
