For serious researchers of CODY families
Here's a cool site of CODY research, these are called the Southern Cody Colonial families or something close to that : http://www.mindspring.com/~baumbach/http://www.mindspring.com/~baumbach/This one has lots of CODY family lines from NC, VA, KY, TN, MO - and more. There's even a contact person: baumbach@mindspring,com
Here's another cool site for CODY researchers, but apparently also limited to those who for certain are related to Buffalo Bill. There's a couple of books already online there, too:http://www.cody-family.org/http://www.cody-family.org/and there's a genealogist for them: [email protected] .
There's a couple of different CODY Museums at http://www.buffalobillmuseumleclaire.com/http://www.buffalobillmuseumleclaire.com/, www.buffalobill.org/ (not sure, but don't see anything outright shown for either of them about genealogy?)
Then there is this one: http://www.bbhc.org/bbm/biographyBB.cfmhttp://www.bbhc.org/bbm/biographyBB.cfmThis website has lots of information about the family of Buffalo Bill. There is a museum and research center of his life. They have genealogy questions and answers. Shows that there is a large staff of people there to help. www.bbhc.org and that there is a huge research library.
Then there's the WOMACK Family Association, who is probably pertaining somehow to Sarah who married James CODY (or Archdeacon), see mentions numerous times on this forum (I think there's a book about them, too, but forget the title)http://www.womacknet.com/sources/wgv2n1.htmlhttp://www.womacknet.com/sources/wgv2n1.html - Can anybody help out with the book sources for these?
Looking for other sites for avid researchers of Cody families - Thanks in advance for sharing. Hey, we never know when there might be a 'match'!
