Here's two older postings (there's probably more) from this forum that may help:
1) "I have a copy of " A History Of Our Irish American Cody Family" by William Howard Wright which was recently reprinted. I will gladly help anyone I can. You can leave a message here or e-mail me at [email protected].
Tammi"
(2)
"....get in contact with Mr. Pierce in Oklahoma City about the book? The book should be updated as when I gave a lot of the information to Howard Wright years ago I did not have the info. that I have today.
There are a few know errors in the book.

I'd suggest if you don't get a reply, try writing them at those emails they openly provided - albeit may be outdated. If that's the case, try putting the book's title in the subject line, maybe that will prompt somebody to offer help as some folks only scan the subject lines to see if it directly pertains to their own branch. Sometimes people here even put the name of the person they want to correspond with, or ask questions, right into the subject lines. You can type in keywords or names in the box on the left side to sift out more CODY family names and places, too.
But have to say that's not my family, so maybe also the Coffee County (is there a COFFEE County forum here, not sure?maybe - But I know some of the other genealogy forums have do names of PLACES like on the rootsweb.com forums, for one). I like them myself, very user-friendly, and no expense at all to seekers - so maybe you could try them, too!
Happy Hunting,
-Will
