Emmett Cody Jr was born ca 1910 and died at 26 years of age in Texarkana from meningitis. Death certificate states father was Emmett Cody and mother is listed as unknown. Really strange, since Emmett Cody Sr. is listed as informant. Emmett Cody Sr. is listed as being born in AL. Emment Jr. is buried in Wooten Springs Cem., Texarkana.

TX death certificates also list a Bessie Idora Beck, daughter of Emmett Cody and Bell Collins. Born 11-11-1908 in Texarkana,AR, died Bowie Co., TX 7-26-1976, Buried Hillcrest Cem., Bowie Co. Informant: Forest H Beck
