Dave, according to the repertoire of marriages for Sacred Heart parish in New Bedford, MA, Mathilde Brault married Alexander (Alex) Coderre on September 24, 1888, with Fr. Bela officiating. She was born Nov. 20, 1865 in Stanbridge, QC, and baptized there on December 3 of that same year, the daughter of Médard Brault and Claire Grenier. Médard was a carriage builder/wheelright who owned his own business in the Stanbridge/Bedford area until he and Claire moved to MA, notably the Salem/Fall River areas. Mathilde's brother, also Médard, was my great grandfather.
If you are also tracking the female side of your family, I can give you Claire's lines all the way back to France.
Yes, I would be pleased to add those generations back to Emery dit Coderre, especially since one of my Masson relatives came over to Canada with him on LaPaix.
Many thanks. Marlyn
