I have Thomas Code b:1773? (arr in Canada on ship Maria 8 Aug 1818) marr Elizabeth Bailey. Children: John, James, Eliza, Mary, Susan.
Their son John b:1785 emigrated to Canada 1817 marr Maritta Seely 4 Jul 1844 settled Beckwith SW1/2 Lot3 Con12. They had a son George Code b:1796, Co Wicklow, Ireland marr Jane Morris 12 Oct 1826, he died in Beckwith 1894. They had 13 known children of which one was your Thomas Code marr Annie Rathwell.
Other people in this forum have info on this same line. One hint with this family in Ireland the name is generally spelt Codd and when they first arrived in Canada it was often Coad then later became Code so it is important to check all three spellings.
