Looking for any information of Francis Code who emigrated to Australia (Tasmania). Some information on him is:

FRANCIS CODE, the ancestor of the Coads from the Cygnet area in the Huon, was born in Ireland about 1816. On 14 September 1850 he was placed on a list of candidates for convict guard service. Previously, he had been working for the East India Company. He embarked from Woolwich, near London, as a private on board the 'Cornwall', 5 February 1851, serving as a convict overseer. On board he reported sick 8-11 June 1851. He arrived in Hobart Town 20/June 1851, immediately resigned from the army and set about obtaining a grant of land. His wife Betsy (Elizabeth Pearce) and four children, Bridget (aged 5), John (aged 4), Ann (aged 2) and Thomas (said to have been born on the
voyage out) most probably accompanied him on the voyage from England. Francis Code was granted land at Peachy's/Petchy's Bay.
near Port Cygnet where he farmed 10 acres in the early 1850's and later up to 87 acres, worth 15 pound a year.
