In a footnote on pg 102 in "Liberation Theology Along the Potomac: Social, Economic and Religious Beliefs Among Maryland Catholic People During the Period of the Civil War 1639-1660 by Edward Toby Terrar, Cecil Calvert, in a "Letter to Government at New Amsterdam", May 1, 1643, complained that three Irish [indentured] servants, Brian Kelly, Cornelius O'Sullivan, and Balthasar Codd, took refuge with the Dutch.
