I'm looking for info on John COCKRUM b abt 1827 in TN. He married Patience Malinda SELF in about 1850 or 1851 in TX. They lived in or around Freestone and Hill counties during the 1850's. Their 4 children are: Garnet Green, William Benjamin, Eliza, and John Van Buren. John COCKRUM died in the Huntsville prison in 1860 and Patience married Charles KILGORE in 1861. Does anyone have info on John's parents or siblings?
