I have little on Israel Cockrum, but a great deal on his brother, Louis Leviticus Cockrum, b 1891. Louis wed Nancy Belle Cothren in Bell Co. TX in 1913 (my grandfather's sister). She was the daughter of Collins Cothren/Cockrum, b. GA and lived in St. Clair Co., AL. Collins the son of John Cochran and Betsy Cockrum...Betsy descends from the same line that Israel is in. Lots of cousin intermarriage. Youngest sister of Irsael and Louis, Laura Mae Cockrum Frank, is still living. Can connect you to the children of Louis and Belle Cockrum if you'd like; they aren't on-line. Do you have anything on the grandparents of Louis Cebrin Cockrum, John Cockrum and Sarah Wharton, and their other children?
