IL are very clear about Charles M. Cochran marrying a Naomi Brown on 16 Sep 1848; However, I would not go as far to say that he was the son of John Cochran and Margaret Rayburn as their son Charles was born abt 1857-1858 Jefferson, IL per census records of 1870. Charles was only 12 years old at the time.
