Former Resident Of Lawton Dies,
Funeral rites for a, former Lawton resident, Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Cockrill, 65, were held Wednesday, Nov. 13 at Mottell's Chapel at Long Beach, Calif. Entombment was in Sunnyside Mausoleum.
Mrs. Cockrill died Nov. 10 in a hospital at Long Beach where she lived with her daughter. Miss Gertrude Cockrill, since moving from Lawton 11 years ago.
A native of Franklin, Ky., she was a member of the Baptist Church.
Other survivors are two sons, Vincent Cockrill, Lynwood, Calif., and Cecil of Hollydale, Calif.; sister, Mrs. Gladys Hinsey, Oklahoma City, and a brother, Walter Taylor of this city.
Mrs. Cockrill and her daughter moved to Long Beach shortly after the death of her husband, Jess Cockrill. While living in Lawton the family's residence was at 1207 C.
