Hi Mark,
I am descended from Jeremiah Vardeman Cockrell's sister Nancy and her husband Prestnn Findley Logan. In 1840, they lived near Nancy's widowed mother nancy and her younger siblings in Johnson Co, MO, however Nancy Cockrell Logan died as a young woman, shortly after the birth of her 4th son, my gr gr grandfather Taylor Logan (aka James Taylor Rogers).

Or, was he the John (1665-1727) m Lucretia Neale who settled in Northumberland Co, VA? Or, was he the John (1695-1794) m Elizabeth Longworth who settled in Westmoreland Co, VA? or....
