Thanks Charlene for replying to my message. However I have all the info you gave but not able to find any information to who is James Blaine Cockrell's father or mother. It haa been listed as his birth at different times from 1875 to 1879. I understand that early records for Breathitt Co., KY. was destroyed. He died in Kerr Co., Texas on Jun 2, 1940. He married a second time to Edna Estelle Summerville which thats where I come in as she was my mother's sister. No one wants to talk about the Cockrells for some reason or another. He was a lawyer in Lampasas, Texas.
