MO - J.Vard and Maranda Jane Douglass Cockrell by Maranda Jane Cockrell of 946 According to the 1950 Genealogical study I just inherited, Colonel Jeremiah Vardaman Cockrell married in Johnson County, Missouri in 1852 Jane Douglas, who was born in Tennesee in 1828 and died in Texas in 1918. According to the study, they had 5 children - Frederick, Nancy Ellan, Mary Iola, Joseph Elmore and Lula. Joseph Elmore was my great great grandfather. He married Emma Lee Meadors, and they had 4 girls one of which was Jane Douglas Cockrell - who was my great grandmother. Notify Administrator about this message? Followups: Re: Johnson Co.
