Hi, I am looking into the Hoyt/Hughes connection and couldn't help but notice your Cockrell/Hughes connection. I have a:
Sarah "Cockerell" (spelling iffy) b. Feb 24 1846 place ??
m. Green Hughes date/place ??
d. 23 Feb 1935, Stella, Mo. (Newton Cty)
buried Dice Cemetery, Fairview Mo. (Newton Cty)

I only know that her husband was Green Hughes occupation is listed as military. Nothing else is know of him.

2 Children:
1. Ceola Denton (My line of Hoyt/Hughes) b. 1868, d. 1941, - married Sarah Dabbs
2. Margaret - married a Davidson
