Thanks for you email. I visited Scalby graveyard which is "alive" with Cockerills. I can't make a connection with you family but doubtless we are linked somewhere in the past. My family stayed at Hackness until early 1800's when they moved onto Frodingham, YORKS. They had been at Hackness/Silpho since 1580's according to the parish register - again filled with Cokerills
