Hi Steven,

I too am descended from Richard through his son William. William's daughter Elizabeth married Lancelot Woodward (1692-1750). Their granddaughter Eliza(1816-1858) married James R Jordan(1806-1880) here in Kentucky in 1834. James was a descendant of Thomas Jordan (1600-1644). Thomas was one of the sons of Samuel Jordan (1578-1623)from a first marriage in England. Samuel later married the oft married Cicely Bailey. Her daughter from a previous marriage was Temperance. This may explain why she is referred to as Temperance Jordan in several posts; Samuel was her step-father. Multiple connections abound!
