Nancy,

I have basically the same records on your fathers line. I am curious what resource validates the names. I have been working with Jamestowne Society and they claim William Cocke married Sarah (Jane) Flower and had issue Mary. They claim Mary married Obediah Smith and had an Anne Smith. Here is where there is a problem. They state the Anne Smith that married Richard Woodson is not the Anne Smith daughter of Mary and Obediah. The statement given is that the lineage you posted shows Mary and Anne being siblings rather than mother daughter. Do you have any proofs of this lineage?
