I am looking for any information on Spilsby Cocke and his wife Mira or Myra Bard/Baird. Spilsby born 1803 in Dickson or Montgomery COunty, Tennessee. His parents are Richard Cocke and Elizabeth Tribble/Cocke. I am told Spilsby and his wife migrated to Sharp County, Arkansas and was buried in Evening Shade Cemetery, under the name of Cox. I have searched endlessly and have not found this info to be true.
I have found 1840, 1850 census for Spilsby and Mira living in Humphries County, Tennessee as well as a 1850 census for his father living in the same county. I have lost Spilsby in Humphries County.
