Searching for John H. Cocke b. abt 1843 in AL. He married E.F. GOLDSMITH (Elizabeth Frances) Dec 3, 1867 in Butler Co., AL. They are listed on the 1870 Butler Co., AL census with a child: MARIAN, age 1. I have not located them after that date. He is probably the son of an attorney, Nathaniel W.(b. abt 1808 GA)& Sarah Cocke of 1850 Macon Co., AL.
