I have been chasing this family around for a long time. I have a Sarah in Bedford Co, VA - in 1782 she is using both the Cox surname and Graham - at the same time. For some reason she is known by both names in her community. Her first born is Jesse - aka Jester in one court record. Her children also use both names for a time but eventually settle on the Graham/Grimes name surname. By 1782 Sarah has 10 children and that's all I have to go on for a dob. She's probably 35-40 so would fit into your Cox family. Jester Cox of Bedford County lived next to the Graham "plantation". If you get any hints on this connection, please let me know.

Kay in CA
