Just saw your query of Oct. 13 and tried to do a little searching. According to info on Rootsweb.com John L Cocke died on July 24, 1913 in Memphis, TN.
Maybe you've seen this information, but just in case you haven't, go to Rootsweb.com, scroll down to Family Trees (World Connect)on left side of page. click open "Search Family Trees". I typed in Cocke, and Daniel. He appears at the bottom of the list with spouse listed as Margaret. When you click on his name his family, including all children appear. Clicking on John's name will show where he died. Clicking on Margaret's name shows her family also. The family is also on the second page. With so many people working on this family maybe someone knows where John L is buried.
