Their daughter, Penelope Cocke Durrett, was my 6g grandmother. Like most of my Durrett records, it doesn't go into much detail on the wife's family. Here's what I have on Penelope.

Given land by father Andrew Cocke in 1809 and 1810[1]
Moved to Franklin Cty GA in 1817
in DeKalb Cty GA 1830 census (page 38)
Randolf Cty AL 1840 census (p 21)
Joeseph Francis died 1846
Penelope died at Cemondes Station near Cotton Dale, Tuscaloosa Cty AL date unknown.
