Trying to find any descendants of my great grandfather, Samuel M. Cocke b 1819/20 m.1852 to Dorcus Festerman,
children:
1. Henry Harris Cocke m. Mary Frances Langston (living in Tate Co,MS in 1880s)
2. James Alexander Cocke m. Martha Jefferson Goode (my grandparents,living in 1885 Tate Co,MS, 1900/1910, Pike Co,AR 1920 Ouachita Co,AR,)
3. Samuel A. Cocke m. ? (living in Memphis,TN in 1883)
4. Leo N. Cocke (died at 19, in 1883, Tate Co,MS)
In 1880 Dorcus, Samuel M. Cocke's wife, died, and he marries, 1880, "Jennie" Elizabeth (Mothershed) Wicks, (a widow with several (four) children of her late husband.) Samuel left everything to Elizabeth Cocke and her children...at his death in 1896/98.
Trying to find any of these peoples descendants...Dee
