Richard Cocke Line Info

I am a descendent of Dr. William & Elizabeth Catesby Cocke. Dr. Cocke came to Williamsburg in June 1710, about 100 years after Richard Cocke. Dr. Cocke & William Byrd of Westover were schoolmates in England. I have been reviewing THE SECRET DIARY OF WILLIAM BYRD OF WESTOVER, edited by Wright & Tinling, The Dietz Press, Richmond, VA, 1941. This portion of his diary covers only a short period -- from 1709 - 1712. The diary contains many references to Dr.& Mrs. Cocke. However, there are several references to a Mr. Cocke, a Mrs. Cocke, Richard(Dick)Cocke and Thomas Cocke. These all occured before Dr. Cocke's arrival so I assume they are all in the Richard Cocke line. This may be old news to you but didn't want to miss an opportunity to pass along a possible reference.
