Hello there, interesting stuff! This may help you as well. In my information I have a John Cox b. ABT 1758 in Orange Co., VA who m. Mary Bryson in 1782. John and Mary's dads both purchased property in Surry Co., NC and then John and Mary moved to Surry Co., NC in 1786-1790. I don't know much about the property or where exactly it is located as I haven't got that far in my research yet. After Mary died in 1798, John remarried, and the family moved to Roane Co., TN where he later died. I don't know about any other relation in that area of the property as of yet. Good luck to you in your research. I know I'm replying to an old posting, but I hope you will see this. Maybe you have some new information?? Would love to hear fom you or anyone. Thanks!
