I have Walter Cocke to John Cocke to Henry Cocke to David C. Cocke. David was born about 1748 in Yadkin Valley, North Carolina and died Feb. 28,1828 at Ft. Blackmore, Scott Co., Virginia. He is buried 1/2 mile above Ft. Blackmore.He married Jemimah Leach (c.1748-15 Jan.1834) about 1774. They had the following children Henry,WilliamB.,John B., David L., Elizabeth, James S., Jemima, Martha Patsy, Nancy and Betsy. Hope this helps.
