David was born in Yadkin Valley, North Carolina about 1748.He married Jemimah Leach about 1774 in Scott Co, Virgina. Jemimah was born about 1748 and died Jan.15,1834 At Ft. Blackmore, Scott Co., Virginia. David died Feb.28,1828 in Ft Blackmore.His burial place is 1/2 mile above Ft. Blackmore.
