William Cocke came to Surry Co., Va in the last quarter of 1600-1665. All children appear to gave been born in England. William was Justice in 1699, with Nathaniel Harrison. He was given 580 acres of land in Surry for transporting 12 persons, including his family of Mary, William Jr., Walter, #Nicholas#, Richard, Christopher, and Thomas.
